A tip that I use when going to look at a car is to check out the guys place. Also look at any other cars he has. If you pull in the driveway and there is a bunch of junk laying around the yard and all the other cars look like hell then be careful. I find that guys that take good care of there cars also take good care of the other stuff they have. The garage might be full of stuff but look around and see where his tools are and any other projects he is working on.

a note about the whole yard thing and checking the car out and the guys place...that's the mark of a good salesman (like me http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif ) i can sell a POS to anybody and make them think they have a good deal. case in point...when i sell my DX http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif watch out.one more thing....if the engine is in REALLY good shape, he's running slicks, and knows when to punch the nitrous, 11.9X times are possible...specially in an 88 HF. i've seen mid 12's on stock bodied GSR swaps. no matter what (unless the engine is just completely ragged out), you can count on some decent 13 second slips....and that's pretty darn good.

Yeah i'm kinda skeptical about 11 secs too, and i personally when for the mostly stock crx when i bought mine b/c i wanted to do the work, but he justs wants a sweet ride.
